Martina Hoffmann

Martina Hoffmann is an artist from Germany, who lives and works both in the USA and Europe.  Visionary Realist Painter and sculptress of the sacred feminine and the mystical experience. Married to the late Fantastic Realist, Robert Venosa.  Hoffmann, spent part of her childhood in Cameroon, West Africa. Her visionary realism art depicts a very unique iconography inspired by the dream state and other non-ordinary states of consciousness, with a deep connection to the sacred feminine. Hoffmann also works as a sculptress. She has designed book and CD covers and created original art and photography for CD’s Kitaro’s “Mandala” among others. Her work is exhibited worldwide, as widely published internationally in books, magazines and calendars.

“The visionary artist makes visible the more subtle and intuitive states of our existence and creates visual maps and symbols reflecting consciousness. These visuals have largely come to represent a new visionary culture that embraces the concepts of , world peace, global unity and sustainability. In my work I portray ‘the source’ as the one universal force beyond the confines of cultural and religious differences. By embracing our oneness as a global human family and our universal interconnectedness as well as the interdependency of all life, we have a chance to heal and transform the planet’s general state of woundedness. In using art as a tool for transformation, we have the opportunity to create a reality as beautiful, healthy and strong as our imagination permits.”
