Sakari Lehtonen’s Story

My inspiration for Sacred Geometry began in 2008 when I started seeing geometrical patterns before I would fall asleep or when I was laying between the state of being awake and falling asleep. I started seeing these highly complex geometrical patterns falling or descending from above my head. At first I didn’t pay much attention to these, but when this started to repeat itself numerous times on many different occasions, I started paying attention and got really perplexed what was happening. Sometimes these patterns were very clear, like certain patterns that would repeat themselves, and sometimes they would just be a mesh of highly complex geometry that seemed somehow to be alive and felt like it was streaming to my head somehow. It truly felt that these patterns I was seeing were somehow Alive, that they were moving and adjusting in such ways that there seemed to be some intelligence or highly complex logic that created them.

I started asking around the Internet if anybody else had experienced something like this. I didn’t really get any good answers or couldn’t find any good information back then, I didn’t really even know the term Sacred Geometry or what it meant, so I couldn’t find what I was looking for. But this sparked my interest in this subject. From this point on, during the following years I would go through many personal changes in my life, as if transforming myself from what I was, a very rational and logical person, to a more intuivite thinker and started really looking inside myself, unveiling what I really am. During this period of time I worked with many plant teachers and experimented with different psychedelics in order to heal myself and discover who I truly am. I also started doing chi kung and kundalini yoga practice and really opening up the spiritual side in my life.

During this process I started to get interested in numerology. I would see certain numbers everywhere and I started pondering “What is the meaning behind these numbers?”. From this interest I started thinking, “What if I visualized these numbers, what would they look like?”. So I started to play around with the idea of what the numbers looked like. I did this first on pen and paper, with a pencil and ruler, and a compass. But I got frustrated how difficult it was to do manually. Then I tried different existing software, like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop to put these ideas I had in my head to forms. This was too difficult also and too much work, I couldn’t get the results I wanted.

So I started to write my own little programs to visualize numbers from 1 to 10. I did this with Processing.js and Javascript as it was easy to show it the results to others and easy for me to develop. These little visualizations grew, and during the process that I played around with these, I noticed that they somehow affected my consciousness if I did for longer periods of time. I would get a buzzing feeling, I would feel my frequency to rise up, as if I could see things clearer somehow. This was really interesting. I wanted to share this feeling to others too, so I started really working on GeoKone then, creating art at the same time as I was playing around with this software I had created.

I noticed some of these patterns and formations are really powerful in they way they affect our consciousness. It’s like the geometry We Create Ourselves, is created within our heads and our minds, and this geometry starts to live it’s own life and connects the dots so to speak inside our cells, atoms and neurons. I’ve had some incredible experiences, dreams and visions after I’ve worked on sacred geometry. More powerful and visible than any of those I’ve felt with anything else, something really powerful and different. And I truly believe, that by working with Sacred Geometry, we are able to re-program our selves somehow to be in Tune With Nature. This is my primary motivation for working with GeoKone, and I hope to be able to let somebody else feel this experience that they wouldn’t otherwise maybe stumble upon.
